Textile Pests covers a variety of insects from Varied Carpet Beetles (Anthrenus verbasci) to Common Clothes Moths (Tineola bisselliella)
These insects, and their larvae, attack and destroy a variety of natural fibres including fur, feathers, wool, leather and stored food. Usually the most noticeable signs of an infestation is bald spots on carpets and damage to clothing.
They will thrive in warm areas and areas that are undisturbed, such as beneath table legs, where they will happily feed on carpet fibres causing considerable damage. They quite often originate from old birds nests.
Due to the different life cycles of these insects, it is usually very difficult to obtain eradication without the help of a pest control professional.
Anti-Pest Environmental Services have had many years experience and have the knowledge and equipment to deal with these pests.
